GSA GREEN TECHNOLOGY
LET US HELP YOU BECOME A BETTER ENVIRONMENTAL PARTNER
Wherever possible, GSA implements "green technology" into our designs. Green Technology can reduce expenses and not only makes your operation more efficient and environmentally responsible... it makes you a leading environmental partner in your community.

GSA uses translucent wall panels in our designs to allow natural light into your building reducing the need for interior lighting.
Compact fluorescent lighting is incorporated into GSA's designs for longer lasting lights which require less power keeping energy costs down.
GSA's Fuel & Wash Buildings and Environmental Management Centers are designed to be zero discharge buildings. A specially designed sump system allows all unused waste water to be pumped to a treatment system and reused and accidental chemical or fertilizer spills can be either treated and recycled or pumped to a storage tank for reuse at a later time. The important factor is that nothing leaves the building. All spills and waste water are contained, treated and reused.
Any spilled liquid chemicals or fertilizer can be pumped through our system to this holding tank. Once the problem is fixed, this captured liquid may then be pumped back into the sprayer tank it was originally intended for. Nothing is wasted.
Our Fuel & Wash Buildings are designed to hold your Convault fuel tank systems providing triple protection against spills: the fuel tank, additional containment layers around the tank encased in concrete and a building that is designed by GSA to contain 125% of maximum tank capacity. Any spills are contained, treated and recycled. Zero Discharge!
GSA incorporates biological washwater recycle systems into our designs. These systems take wastewater and separate the solids. What remains is run through a system in which biological microbes breakdown oil, gas and other contaminents leaving recyclable water to be reused on the next piece of equipment.
One of the environmentally friendly options GSA can incorporate into your facility is Hydronic Heated Floors. Depending on the location, we have used wood fired boilers with propane backup to fuel this system. You not only have consistent temperature control but are saving fuel costs by using a common natural byproduct (wood) found on the golf course.
Waterfree Urinals reduce water and sewer costs.
To control the amount of water used in our facilities, GSA utilizes Hands Free Flushometers into our restroom designs. This helps control water usage and promotes a sanitary environment.
